I have a 80 Silverado swb 2wd that's getting a 5.3 as my daily driver. I also have a 79 Bonanza swb 3/4 ton axles 4:11 front and rear that's getting a 6.0 and 4l80 combo. I'm looking for info specifically on fabricating motor mounts, brackets, making a 5.3 bolt up to a th350 or 700r4, and bolting the 4l80e to my 79 transfer case. Any info or help from ya'll is appreciated. I intend on keeping ya'll in the loop as these projects come together. Thanks Tim

Contact Advanced Adapters for information on mating the 80e to the 79 transfer case. Generic adapter mounts are available on ebay to reuse the old motor mounts with the Gen3 engine. Search for LS1 engine mounts or adapters.

I appreciate all the replies. I will check out advance adapters and ebay for the adapters and mounts. the 6.0 is at the machine shop as of this am for a clean and prep, front cam bearing walked out-so gotta get that back in order.
