    gauges and computer question

I am wondering if the computer needs the reading for the coolant temp sensor and the oil pressure sender in order to run. And also what will i need to run some autometer gauges. Thanks in advance!

OP, no, Coolant, absolutely or it will run like crap in safe mode dumping excess fuel into the engine to cool it down.

you just install the sensor that comes with the guage you buy, assuming you buy the electric type. thats what i plan on doing.

It will run without either. You won't like it though.

my 2nd one is in the back of the passenger side head, there is a place for it just like the driver side. You can get an adapter for it, 12mm x 1.5mm pitch I believe.

Yea, like Red said, you can get an adapter for the back of the passenger head. Street and Performance sells one that is pretty good. It comes with a little copper ring and is all shiney and stuff Its a bit pricey though at like $16 + shipping...but it works and I needed one desperately so thats the one I went with...
