um.. yes fab-tech does have a habit of stickin those tires out and widening your track.

and i was thinkin the 1000.00 rough country system. not the one with the duded up shock because i plan on a SAS one day. i jus want something simple and relieable now.

yes i read that peterson's article and still read it over and over and over again to this day

Dude buy the full drop suspension Pro Comp 6". Its the best out there and a crap load of people on GMFS are running them and love them. You can also crank it up to 8" if you want. The reason I got my RCX 6" was cause I didnt want to go too high and I just wanted to flatten my angles a little bit. The rough country kit is damn good for the money though and it took me 12 hours strait to put it on. Pro comp also makes a 4"-6" kit just like mine for the same price and they are almost identical. Mine did some with a dif. skid plate though and I dont believe the pro comp knuckle kit does. When I ordered it from rough country I had no problems and shipping was fast Ill tell you that much haha. It all depends on how high you want to go. If you put that full drop 6" pro comp youll be way taller than me.

Also have you decided what wheels you are going to run? That is a huge factor when buying a lift. If you buy a knuckle kit you will have to get wheels with at least 4.5" inches of backspacing. If you get a full drop kit, you can run any wheel you want even your stockers if your broke and need wheels and tarz to get around

Fabtech knuckle kits are weak sause. Wheels stick out way to far lol

    True

the 7.5 kit for the half tons works pretty well, my friend has it on his truck and has had no problems. Why do you hate your kit? Is it a knuckle?

Yea and the fact that it rides like crap and put my cv's at a bad angle. I want to get another lift hit or do a solid axle swap.

well i like the superlift 7.5 i hear alot of good things about them on fullsizechevy. they talk ALOT of crap about fabtech and procomp though. my only thing is i don't want a kit that i'm gunna have to crank for a full 6 inches. so ya full drop is gunna be what i look at probably but like i said i have to look at cost. since i want a SAS in the future some time
