    Swap time

Hey guys, well the time has finally come around for me to get that 5.3 in the turd. My boss decided to give me a 4 day weekend starting at twelve on Fri. and going back in on wednesday morning. I'm gonna try and take pictures of most of the work and I'll post my progress when I have the chance. Hopefully the turd won't stay out of commision for too long. Thanks to everyone that's been helpig with all of stupid little questions.

Does anybody what flywheel I could use for my swap? The v6 flywheel doesn't line up right and the dealership wasn't too much help. If it's any help the tranny is the NV4500.

Can anybody lead me in the right direction with this flywheel issue. My work has come to a stop since the tranny can't go in.

Not sure but you'll probably have to switch to a Camaro or late model truck flywheel. Just a guess, no facts or past experience behind my guess. I do know that the crankshaft is about 3/8" shorter than the OBS Gen1/Gen2 crankshafts, except the early 6.0L engines.

Thanks, I'll call up the dealership and see what we can figure out.
