    He has some dates lined out to go over with you. The thing is if you want to do it on the weekend so others can come out and help/hangout. Jon's in Dallas this weekend getting his truck tuned and the following weekend with Goodguys at TMS, where he has a lot of customers rides at and possibly future business.

    Whatever is easier for Him/you. Any date will do. as long as im not on shift.

    That towel won't work. I would go with a cotton/poly blend or full synthetic.

    hey jeff i had my fans come one both ways at first it was with ignition the blue wire went to a ignition sorce and the black was the pcm wire you need to be sure to have the main power connected to the power supply in the fuse box here is a diagram that may help Google Image Result for http://www.ls1fc.com/images/ls1coolingfansbu6.gif

    Jeff--like 6.0Lvortecchevy said...if you want to do the install at your house, you can buy the handle style compression tool and cut off the handle just after the bend so you can get back to the rear springs. Also, you will need an old rocker bolt with some washers. If you don't have a rocker bolt, take one of yours off and go up to Autozone or Home depot and match up the threads (8 x .125 I think). Make sure to get the same thread length. You can either rent or buy the other tools you need to make the swap happen. Or just drive to Jon's shop and maybe he'll be nice enough to let you use his tools for you spending some time under his desk...
