I purchased the 03 5.3 with 43K and transmission for $1200. It wasn't a bargain but fair. That included all access., pcm, wiring. The wiring, tune and electric fans would add up to about an extra $1000. But if you get a good pin out you could fix the wiring yourself and save $450.

Well keeping with the truck intake dropped the price to around 2470 so I may go ahead with this engine. I've gotten my fuel pump and filter but the links in the conversion thread won't work for me, can anyone link me the parts from summit or jegs? thanks
