    i am getting my truck painted

    i was just gonna go with the same color but im open to suggestions


    1996 gmc ext cab short bed
    6.6L 4l80e

    I think the white looks good on a z71. . .

    Pass on paint and buy some nice custom wheels and tires instead. BTW, I like white on that truck.

    Does it need painted? Looks pretty good to me! +1 on the white and the new wheels!

    To use Greg's term, it would take cubic dollars to paint it another color because of the jambs, etc. The paint looks good to me, and I am partial to white, so +1 on new shoes.

    Maybe get a cowl hood too if you want. White, silver, or black. Cant have my color .

    +1 Respraying the same color would be expensive but not killer, but a new color is a whole different project.

    I think its sleeper appeal is really nice with this truck. Picture riding around in this supercharged Z71 looking all slow and pickin on rice. That would be so much fun. A little more difficult with aftermarket wheels and tires.
