    Ok...the part of all this that is hard to do is to install the front gears...those are the ones that are a bitch to do, and are going to cost me the most. Which is also why i cant afford to put them in.

    ITS ALL DONE....so i didnt get 4.10's because i couldnt afford it. I got stock gearing put in the back, BUT i did get a kit so that i have posi now. I figured i couldnt just put everything back to stock like it was before, so now i get crazy traction when i mash it....its pretty sweeet. Cost me 550 to do just the gearing in the rear and 500 for the posi...total of 1050 (and labor is included in that) The one bad thing outa all this is they told me they think i will blow my tranny soon cause of the posi...so.....dono....

    glad to hear it buddy.and you will blow youre tranny soon,lol.and maybe a few more if ya throw some power to it.these trannys are crap in these .even b4 i had mods i blew my first 1.50k.its all the silly price we pay too play.
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    The front is a lot easier to change....the problem is the diff has to be pulled to swap the gears. That takes longer.

    what kind of posi did u end up getting?
    02' silverado ext. cb 2wd , 5.3 liter 325c.i.     Im not sure what posi i got but i just know the guy who did my truck is pretty much nationally known for the work he does so i trust him with his install...i am going to see him soon and ask him all this.
