Your right I am spraying out of the hole. Once i hit about 2500 rpm I activate it. Otherwise I am like a turtle for the first 5 seconds. By doing this am I going to break my converter or something else?

Honestly man a 3k or 3500 converter would wake that truck up like you would not believe. You would not be spraying out of the hole anymore unless you had good slicks.

I have been going back and forth on a converter. I know I need one. But I can't decide on a trailblazer stall or a yank. I know the yank is better but I will only go to the track 1 or 2 more times. So which one is better for daily driving? And by the way, I was thinking .4 or .5 in the 1/4 mile, not the 1/8th. So in the 1/8th we r talkin maybe .2?

Depends on what you want to spend, and what you use the truck for. I race my truck and drive it to the store for beer.. So I would go with a 3800 whatever stall.. If it is your DD then you may go with something else.. All I can tell you is that the cam you have does not match your stock converter.

All that I can say is that I love my Vigilante 3500 stall!
