Got mine from oregon performance transmission parts through eBay for $17 shipped. I was pleased with the transaction. The only issue with the tune is if you have a tune with greatly increased line pressure for the 1-2 shift. The new servo pistons will make the 1-2 pretty stout. If your tune is mild or OEM, it will make a difference but won't be harsh. When I got my tune, they knew I was putting the Vette pistons in so they increased the pressure above stock accordingly.
before i got one put in, i was burning the hell out of the trannies. it was almost mandatory for me.

Use pry bar to push in servo far enough to get the small flat head screw driver in to pop out the snap ring. Once the snap ring is off, pull out the servo, keeping everything in order. Take it out and set it on your tailgate or other flat surface. Pull everything apart, keeping the parts on order. Then replace the stock parts with the parts that come in the kit for the Vette servo---carbon gasket rings, blue and red o-rings, servo, etc. Then make sure to wipe some tranny fluid on the servo and parts to lubricate it for reinstall. Put it back into the side of the tranny. Use pry bar to push servo in far enough to get snap ring back in. Use small flat head screwdriver if needed.
Thats it. And you are good to go!

Thanks a million man! I'm gonna look into swaping servos...my truck shifts pretty hard already from first to second. Will the vette servo just make it shift harder or hold that shift longer?

Shorter and harder. Go get your tune reworked and have your tranny shift pressures set back to stock. Leave about 15% TM. Also tell your tuner about the new servo.

The most simple solution is to use the Kent-Moore tool.
