I am trying to pull the 350 tomorrow and I have everything pulled but the wiring. How do you disconnect the wires on the passanger side firewall? Do you just cut them, also how do you approach the tangle of wires on the drivers side under the fuse box? I can't see any connectors on them...

Don't cut or remove any wires until you have the reworked or new harness in your hands. Remove all connections from the stock engine and save all the sensor that are hooked to the connectors, reconnect them to the harness after removing them from the engine so you'll know exactly what hooked to where. When you get the new harness grafted into the old, then cut wires that aren't being used. Leave the stock PCM in place to save numerous possible headaches.
if you're getting a custom harness made be sure to tell them how long you need the PCM leads or at least tell them where you plan to mount the PCM and they can tell you how to measure the amount of lead you'll need.

if your talking about the wires beside the a/c unit on firewall there should be a 7mm ? bolt on each side you need to take out. There are a few wires that goes into the dash from that plug.

I thought I didn't need the stock PCM in the swap
So to remove the old engine from the truck do I pull the harness off the truck and just fold it out of the way or do I undo the harness from the truck and pull it with the motor? If there is someone who is willing to talk to me via phone that would help me out a lot cause I am completely lost with how this works...

The way I did it was take all connections from engine and engine bay that connected to harness and pulled it over the drivers fender to be out of the way. In the harness you will have some connections like underhood light, etc that most likely you will want to keep.

Yeah that's what I finally did. the wire running through the firewall on the passanger side we disconnected under the dash on the inside I don't know if that was the right place or not but we have the motor floating in the engine bay now and are going back with friends after lunch to pull it out.
