    If you want better flow from those headers cut the 02 bung about 1/2" from the flange and weld a 3" pipe all the way back and add the 02 sensor into the 3" pipe. The 1 5/8" primaries will lose horsepower but this mod will help. Here's a test set I was playing with.

    Oh, I'd recommend pulling the gasket out and welding up the square flange. This is the worst flange I've seen when it comes to leaking. LOL Give it about a month...............but they do work.

    That modification makes it almost like a longtube header. Put a collector reducer at the end and it would almost be hard to tell the difference. Racers used different lengths of pipes off the end of the open headers to create more or less torque, I'm sure that modification will have the same effect.
