This is probably a dumb question but how much do vette servos really help? I see a lot of you guys running them so they have to help out somewhat? Where do you find them? What do they work best with?

2005 AWD Silverado SS-CAI, Shorties, X pipe, SLP Loudmouth II, HD2 Shift kit, Corvette servo, tru-cool 40k, Yank SS3600, 160 Stat, Nelson tune.
They add more fluid volume to the 2-4 band apply push rod to make for a stronger hold. It adds strength to hold 2nd and 4th gear clutch apply with less chance of the band slipping.

I would say any performance vehicle needs the vette servos minimum. Higher performance vehicle with power adders need the billet servos.

for 13 bucks man i would just do it now it wont hurt but, you sold your turbo right?, so you dont really have it to worry about now until you start make some good power again but, like i said for that cheap why not just do it, they are on finish line trans, for like 19 dollars but, you can find em cheaper.

As for putting them on, i had very little room to do it, and messing with my tranny isnt something i liked doing, so i had someone do it for 50 bucks. As for the shift difference, its noticible but nothing neck snapping.
2000 Silverado Ecsb 5.3 Z71. Work in progress...
Me and another guy put them on in under an hour. They are really simple/cheap and help out alot

Yes--do a Corvette servo. I have seen them as cheap as $12 on Ebay. They take about 20 minutes to do. VERY, very easy. Just make sure you have a 2' pry bar and a small flat head screw driver.
