i smell oil!

I put a catch can inline and ran the factory system. I couldn't stand the oil smell.

Same here. I have the catch can and get the oil smell in the cab. I guess it's just a negative side effect if you vent it into the air instead of into the intake. I think I'm going to try mounting the catch can in the front down low. That will hopefully 1.) help the blow-by oil or whatever to run down to the catch can easier, rather than pushing it through a 3/8" hose and 2.) hopefully suck the air under the truck and dissipate it a little. We'll see.
