    he can do that but he'll need an early version of the LS2 with the correct relucter wheel or he'll have to change it out on the crankshaft. He'll also need knock sensor and camshaft sensor extension wires to reach the new sensor locations. Other than that it will swap out.

    I'd put that money into the 5.3. With the money and headache of swapping an ls2, you could put that into the 5.3 and make far more power than a stock ls2. But if you realllly insist on a motor swap, it will swap right in size wise. Need to deal with the PCM too.
