A wise man once told me, you don't get rich from working. You get rich from investing. He worked at 3M for 30 yrs, his wife worked there for 20+ yrs, and one of his sons works there. He put 50% of his money in savings, so did she. They now both are retired, and are loaded LOL. Only problem with that is, what if you die before you can retire? Then you had no fun...
Thats why you find out what you are good at, and what you enjoy doing... And then Find a way to make money off of it. That way your happy while you invest.
more you make the more you pay in taxes.
If your taxable income is between
0 thru 8,025 your tax bracket is 10%
8,025 - 32,550 = 15%
32,550 - 78,850 = 25%
78,550 - 164,550 = 28%
164,550 - 357,700 = 33%
357,700 and above = 35%
so the more you make the more you are punished which is a completely unfair system. you are much better off being poor, when you pay so much for taxes knowing that the money is just wasted on useless government BS it pisses you off and you end up paying hospital bills for health conditions related to stress/anger.
I totally agree, however things that are required to live/work are out of proportion for those folks that at the lower end of this income. meaning a gal of milk or a tank of gas is a higher % of available income. That's why sale's tax could/might be a fair way to do things???
