Hey G I'm in the same boat as you! My 3 and 4 gears went out so the truck is sitting until the Level 5 FLT comes in. It should be here in a couple weeks.

sorry too hear that ,trannies suck,ive beeen through 7 .and i got the whole flt scmeel too.when this one goes itll be a 4l80 conversion.the other day n pt.net someone was trying to give a 80 away from flt for like 2200 .check it out.maybe itll help you save a few bucks.good luck its probly a waste of time for you to try too change converters if your slipping.jmo and expierience with these things.if the coverter blew it sent metal through the whole tranny anyway.but good luck.

changing converters is something i can do thats why im gonna try it at least i can get back and forth from work.

You ever thought about the 4l80e swap G? If you plan on FI and/or a decent shot youll be in the 500+ hp range.

change out the converters...there may not be any metal sent out if you just cracked that sprague like i think you did, but if you cotinue to drive it with it broke then i will tell you it must be nice to have that much money to just blow on a $2k trans and can i have a loan
