    It wasn't up to the busch family, they didn't own the majority stake in the company it was up to the shareholders.

    I work in the bar industry and I am curious to see how this all plays out.

    trust me, the beer isnt going to change. They bought anhueser busch because they were the biggest beer maker in the world. You think they're going to change something like that? I don't think so. Its all about the $$, and the budweiser brand brings a lot $$.

    A-B is more than just beer. They sell snack foods and have a food distribution unit that supplies restaurants. I'm sure they're into more than that but that's what I remember off the top of my head from my tour at their Colorado facility about 12 years ago.
