J/K man...anyways, I guess since you got you plans for FI in your future, I guess we could eliminate LT headers and a huge, lopey cam. And you are still contemplating the twin STS setup? and even with these mods, you still need some decent mpgs out of it? Hmmm...FI and good mpgs just don't mix. You can do either one or the other.
Yeah I know...I mean i wouldnt do the twins till i got some little mpg car so i can have my toy
but I do see that you have the pacesetter lt headers...how do you like those??? Im looking into getting a set of them. did you get the painted or the ceramic?

Yeah, I did the same as you--I got an Accord 2dr. as a daily driver a couple years ago. It allows me to keep the truck in the garage and let it retain it's name as the "Garage Queen." A lot of people do not agree with the notion of spending thousands of dollars to buy a DD when they could use that to buy gas for their V8. True, it would probably take years to offset the expenditure, but I see it as not only saving gas, but it keeps miles and wear and tear off the truck. To everyone their own...

[size=2]I got the ceramic coated Pacesetters with the 3" ORY. You can find some really good deals on them

]online. I know that there has been a thread started that talks about finding Pacesetters at the cheapest price. I had 3 bolt flanges welded onto the ends of the collectors of the headers and at the front of the ORY so that if I needed to take them on and off again, it wouldn't be as hard as trying to disconnect them at the joints. After thousands of hot and cold cycles, the exhaust plumbing almost kind of welds itself together, making it a PITA to get off.

If you think about it...there really is no way to have a 700+ hp truck and drive it every day and not pay an arm and a leg for gas...everyday.

As for the headers...this is kinda an odd question but...i know they will fit on my 5.3L but if I buy them for the 5.3 they will direct swap over to the LS1 right?? As for the ceramic vs. painted...how big if any is the difference in power and sound?
