Thread: Neutral safety switch and fuel gauge on 98 swap

    Well, you saved me some work. i can live with this but i need to figure out the gas gauge. I would this it was grounded through the pcm in an indirect way or something, and the removed wiring removed the power or ground for the gauge. My tach in the 98 works fine BTW. Are you using the stock V6 O2 sensors or did you change them out? I have been trying to lay all of this out in writeup form as I go, and it's come along pretty good as I've worked my problems out. I still have to get the ABS working too, I guess i have more little things left than I realize

    yeah i need to figure my gas guage out as well. its pegged way past full. my new tune is coming this week with the resolution of the pcm changed to 3. i bought 02 sensors for the 5.3.... and threw away the 4.3 sensors. they were nasty anyways. my abs light comes on when i touch the breaks. i may figure it out sometime or ill just pull the bulb... it really is all the little things that make it miserable. i really really really really want my gas guage to work though lol...
