I'll try it, but Im almost positive it wont work. I have the moonie gauges and they have the drac built in it. It has the two wires from the original 700r4 speed sensor that goes directly to the cluster then comes out of the cluster and goes to the comp., cruise.
I called nelson performance and basically they r guessing too. and said to try and hook there one wire to one of the two wires and try it. If it doesnt work try the second wire.
So I'll try urs and his suggestions and go from there.
Thats what im saying! And I dont think anyone has done this swap with our instrument cluster.

It won't work, hang tight and I'll figure out what you need to do and post it here. If I remember correctly you have the oddball cluster where you can't change out the faces. The needles really aren't needles but are somewhat wide right?

Ok, that cluster uses a 2000K pulse and the LS1 4L60E uses a 4000K Pulse. You'll either have to install a dual reluctor ring on the tranny tailshaft like S&P sells for $500.00 or use a Dakota Digital Signal interface with 2000k pulse like this.

I did it on my buddy's 89 model when we put the LT1 in it. It's been so long ago that I can't remember how we did it though. It can be done.

Is the 80ea 4k pulse output also. When I ordered my tune I told them I need the speedo output to be for my stock gauges
