    question about a nelson tune?

I have a diablosport predator 93 tune in my truck right now. It made a noticable difference, mainly because of TM getting turned off. I had problems with the truck running lean before the tune, because of a granatelli mass air sensor. This was confimed by one of their reps over the phone. I'm able to add fuel with the handheld but, only above 2K. It's supposed to hold 5 custom tunes, so would a nelson tune be able to add the right amount of fuel and spark to get it running like a beast, or would I be wasting some money? If Allen or Melissa could respond to this that'd be awesome.

I have a granatelli as well, and allen told me that they just mess with the MAF codes. And they dont really, do anything... no power increase. He retuned mine when we did the live tune, But If I get a stock MAF I will have to get a retune. Personally, I would get a stocker and then get a Live tune. If you wanna keep the Bogus MAF, he can tune it, but it would make the same power as a stock MAF would. You will see a world of difference with a Nelson Tune. Allen can fix you up bro.

I gotta wait till I get a cam installed, then I'll be talking to Nelson for sure! I took the advice and took out the Grantelli today. It honestly feels stronger already and I've only driven about 5 miles since removed it. Thanks.

Be sure to order a Tune from nelson and install it right after you install the cam. It wont run right without a tune.

Alright I'll be sure to do that...will I have to perform the crank relearn process and if so, is that something I can do at home?

you need a gm tech 2 to do the crank relearn it only takes a couple min. A dealer could do it, and if you know the svc guy it should be free..

...or anyone with HPTUNER software can do the relearn for you.
