Thats kinda what i was planning on doin. ve seen that a good converter can lower 0-60 6 or 7 tenths, is this true?

A coverter is you best method of putting the power to the ground properly, that and a good strong limited slip differential with sticky tires. The strongest engine with a crap converter just won't cut the mustard. If you don't get the truck to launch where the power band for the engine begins or a little higher you're bogging on the line while the guy next to you is sailing away.
