    LT1 in a 2000 rcsb

Has anyone ever put an LT1 in a 99+ truck. I have a 2000 rcsb with a 4.3 and a 4l60. I also have a 96 Corvette LT1. I was wondering where to get a wiring harness and if I would need a different radiator and where to get one. Any help appriciated.

It is an illegal swap in most states. Engines can be like year model and newer ONLY according to governing agencies. An LSx engine would be better suited to your application and much cheaper to install than an LT1.

yeah id just sell the LT1 and do an LSx engine swap, you could sell the LT1 and buy a complete stock 6.0 that will be a direct bolt in swap, and make way more power for cheaper than the LT1.

    Just my $.02

It does? damn, when was the last time you looked at the two of them side by side? I've had both and will never do an LT1 again.
