    Ck Engine Light, High Idle!

Well the first time i started my truck it idled between 600 to 700 rpms, when i shut it off and started it again it idles now at 1500 and no less, then the engine lite comes on and is not blinking just on.

All wires are hooked up including the front 02 sensors, comp tuned by Nelson.

And I wont be able to drive the truck for awhile, so I cant just have the code ck'd and I dont know anybody locally that has hptuners or efi live.

    Any ideas is appreciated

It may simply be the crank relearn light. Do you have DBW or cable throttle? Is the butterfly closing completely against the stop?

to me sounds like the tune is slightly off, mine was idling like that too, and i got it retuned live and allen fixed it. Sounds like u need to get it drivable an drive it to allens so he can use his magic on it.

I have an autometer tach and was amazed it worked.

Nope I had a 700r4 and now I got the 80e which is longer and has a bolt on yoke on the trans. Going with a telescoping driveshaft. $$$$$

Yep it cable operated and it does close completely, crank relearn I was afraid that would come up.
