If you buy a cam kit be sure to shop ebay and your local craigslist for good deals. everything I have bought, has either been used, or on sale. And make friends on the site here cause they can and will help you out. Some like tyler and chris, will work for little to nothing. slip them a little cash, feed em and give em beer. They will help allot. donate some $$$ and youll be golden.

now this is my daily driver but i will be purchasing some other vehicle for gas purposes but from what im hearing....these are the mods..comp cam 220 duration,stall converter,pacesetter headers, corvette servos,shift kit,4:10 gears, tru track locker and a nelson tune on a 4.8....so what kinda horses am i looking at here and is all this worth it on my 4.8
You were talking about getting another car for gas mileage, think about this the money you will be spending on the car think of all the gas you could buy for the truck. On a show I saw they said if you spend 10,000 on a car it will take approx. 7 yrs to make up for it.

when should i do the tune firsdt or last?and what sites can i look on to see about getting some prices for all of these mods??
I would say tune first, because you get Im pretty sure five upgrades for free, and the shipping is pretty fast anyway.
