Don't think I haven't thought about it. I have to pull a trailer at least once a week, sometimes more. I've gotten the bicycle all ready, just haven't ridden it to work yet...

I should make a receiver hitch for my bike...

does your truck have the power folding mirrors? I use that to fold mine in on the highway.

Bedcover? Does your truck have the tailgate spoiler? How about the front airdam? Some later trucks have a strip of rubber along the bottom of the front bumper to help aerodynamics.

If you run your air conditioner, set it to recirculate. It won't need to work as hard to cool down the already cooled down air in the cab compared to air coming in from outside.

And the number 1 thing that you can do to improve your fuel economy is to simply drive slower.

With my 05 ECSB LM7/4L60E/3.23/30.5" tire truck, I've been averaging over 20mpg on the highway with a best of 24.7MPG on a cool night driving around 55mph the entire trip.

oh yeah, I put the 06 hood and grille on my truck mainly because I like how it loks, but I think it is a bit better aerodynamically eventhough it weighs more.

Yeah I decided I wasn't going to worry about it anymore last week. Since then I've been feeling better and enjoy the truck once again. I have noticed a gain since I added the '05 e-fans. Now if I could just everything working right. Those fans draw a ton of current .

Yeah it has the folding mirrors. Never thought about doing that on the highway...

Trying to finish up the e-fans, then I'll work on a bedcover.

    Thanks for the help.
