mine is a live tune. the only thing is we never went from a dead stop. all done rolling down the hiway, id slow down and punch it, allan would do his deal, we'd pull over. get going, punch it again etc. i cant remember ever coming to a dead stop and nailing it. alan has invited me back, but getting the time off to make the drive is tough. seeking advice here to see if the tune could be a little off, or if i have other issues in the combination. thanks for the input guys....gene

My '03 Yukon 5.3 is DBW, and is fast off the line. I think you need the stall converter to match your cam, and then retune. It should be an animal.

my stock extended cab 5.3 with a tune would light up the tires from a stop. and it had 3.23s at that time.

done! trailblazer convertor is in. will spin the holy shttttt out of the tires now. will stall up to about 2300 rpm with my combination. price was right and i like the fact its still a gm piece designed for durability. now im starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. i think with a little more timing and less torque management it will be a runner.
