    whihch O2 SENSORS!

hey guys i have a question for you... i need to get the o2 sensor situation squared away but seem to be having issues... on my moms truck which is a 99 5.3 she has these sensors just below the end of the manifold

on my truck harness i can only find plugs for this style o2 plug. and there is 1 plug on the 4.3 harness that fits the style above. does anyone know if the bottom one is the correct one...? this bottom one is for the down stream sensor... but i only need the front 2 correct? i believe allen deleted the others from my tune. so i am a bit confused. hope someone can help. thanks guys

more then likely allen deleted them if you asked him to, or if you told him you were not running the rear 02 sensors, i learned something about these just the other day when i bought a new harness, the bottom picture my harness has 4 of those plugs, which i later found out it was canadien made. the top picture those 02 sensors are used for the front, of a 99 as i have 2 of them practically new that i dont need anymore due to harness difference..if i had to guess for your moms vechicle it would be the top one.. if you need 2 of them i got 2 that i am not using ..

well yes i believe allen did delete the rear o2's but he said you have to have the front ones... so i am assuming i will just have to buy the one's in the bottom picture? because that's the only type of plugs i have to connect... the other ones simply dont exist...i just wanted to make sure it wouldnt hurt anything to use that type versus the other? whats the difference with them anyhow??? i did they change them to all 4 like yours at a certain year or something?

cant really answer the difference, if i had to i would say theres not one except on the plugs, could be year related who knows if it is maybe someone will mention it..youre correct the front ones are needed, just go to the parts store and get them, i got 2 of them the other day ...

on my setup being all 4 plugs the same, was that the harness i bought came off a canadien truck, could be true and could not be true, but i'll know this weekend if it works or not, which i am sure it will ...
