    Fuel System Questions

I have a return less style fuel rail that came with my 5.3, i was planning on swapping it out for a return style fuel rail off an older model but i was wondering if ti would be worth keeping it. I saw some people use the Corvette fuel filter that does this how does that filter work? does it have a vacuum refrence to raise fuel pressure when needed?

you get a flat out 58 psi at the fuel rail maximum. Any excess is returned to the fuel tank.

If you're building a daily driver, whichever one you can get cheapest. For a race vehicle, a flow through fuel rail with a bypass fuel regulator to return excess fuel after passing through both rails.

It would be cheaper and easier to stay with the return style of fuel lines you have now and spend some cash to get a return style fuel rail. What year is the truck you have and what year is the 5.3 you got?
