Okay, Folks, help me out here if you can. I need a throttle cable to go with my LS1 in my 92 C1500. I had the one for a Impala SS and it's too short for the LS1. Anyone know of a GM cable that will work with a F-body LS1 throttle body? GM part numbers appreciated.

    Thanks

Not sure if a F-body cable will work or not. I wound up doing a corvette electric throttle.

I used a f-body cable but it is way too long. I think the truck cable would work better, that is what Farmtruc used. I don't know the part number but I bet the dealer does.

93ND500, how hard was it to install the electronic controlled throttle body, I now you need the pedals and the throttle body, but what about the wiring. Does it run through the ECU?

For my swap the stock F-body cable worked fine, my engine came with the cable still on it. It slips into the firewall the same way that the original one did.

Okay, thanks. I got the f-body cable. I like the extra length, gives me a chance to route it where I want it.
