get a bigger converter then. my cam is a hair smaller (226/226) and i was cutting 1.69 60' times spinning. now im wishing i went with the 228 or even bigger.

    228/228 Converter?

Well now im leaning towards a 228/228 on a 112 lsa. What size converter would you guys recommend? Could i get away with a 3000? or should i get a 3200? Also could anyone tell me what my stock converter is?

Just a note the cam is going in first then im ordering a FLT and converter. Will my truck still be fun to drive if i install this cam with out a converter?

What type of tirers are you using to get 1.69 60' times??

The 228 would be a good choice. I would say 3000 stall at minimum for that cam. Stock converter=NOT ENOUGH for that size of cam. Truck will drive ok, but you won't be able to utilize the cam's power until you get the stall.

Have you installed the cam yet? Does it drive ok and will this kill my gas mileage. Its not that big of a deal i just want it to be decent....

Ok i think i will go with a 3200 stall. If 3000 is the minimum.

Not installed yet, waiting to get a stall. I might get a 3200 yank. I can get a 3000 from Pheonix transmision for $429 and the 3200 yank goes for $725. I really want atleast a 3200 Im just trying to justify the $300 difference.

With stalls such as 3400 and 3600, will my truck still be able to be my daily driver?
