Been there done that, the stock manifolds work much better than LT headers. I got 18 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway with the STS kit. The 22 on the highway was running between 75-85 mph. Once you are up to speed it never shifts down no matter how steep the grade. Stock 5.3 with 918 springs and a 2600 stall.

Moze, I know that when Jason (MIDNIGHTRIDER) put the Maggie on his truck (04 ECSB LQ4), he is getting about 21-22 mpgs on the hwy. You may need to have someone do some fine tuning on your truck.

Could the odometer/speedometer be off some, too? It all adds up. Get a GPS and go out and measure your speed.

Mozes tune is fine...it has been looked at by a couple of the best tuners in the area...
2006 silverado SS....Clifford Jr...turbo coming soon
1970 Chevelle ly6 swap....d1 coming soon
Dustin did the tune, Sean at LG looked at it, then Sam looked at it and it's all good.
LOL...Virgil, funny enough--I suggested the same people who have looked at it...

Those guys were probably looking at only the performance end of the tune. The economy that you're looking for is totally seperate and takes a lot of tuning to fine tune to work through all the cells.
