    Lowering

I know there are a few posts out there about lowering, but i just wanted to ask you guys about it. I want to remove the rear blocks from my truck, but i've never done anything like it before so im not to sure on how to go about it. For the front im just going to de-crank my torsion bars, then go get it aligned. I know quite a few of you have done this so i was wondering if you could tell me how to go about it.

loosen the u bolts and remove the blocks...then set the axles back down on the alignment pins on the axle...put u-bolts back on....simple

that should set the back down the same as a stock 2wd

Do the search for the threads here.

I think it tells you how you can reuse the u-bolts by putting the blocks on top.

I was taught to never reuse ubolts on a rear end. Its like bad kharma, kind of like reusing the front balancer bolt. As sure as you reuse it, it will either break, loosen or fall off later.
