Well i think that is who had my tranny before. Anyway did that tranny slam into 2nd even at a slow take off. Sometimes, most of the time, it does and sometimes it shifts soft. Just wondering

could be th shift kit...mine if the speed is just right will snap your head on the shift
other times its smooth.

Brad, the tranny mentioned has the shift kit installed where as the line pressures and RPMs build, the harder the shift. He said that at even at slow take off speeds that it snaps pretty good. From the sounds of it, the tune needs some work...

Yeah what he said. Also when pulling a hill in 4th at low rpm you can feel and hear the TC locking in and out. At least that what it sounds like to me

Yup, its in the tune man. You need to have it reworked or have an SD (Speed Density) tune done...
