I hate to say it, but you should have left well enough alone.
I had a VERY similar experience out of highschool. Let's just say I ended up buying 2 vehicles, a hemoraged (sp?) eye, and lots of plastic surgery. Nearly killed 2 people.

IT would be illegal, but funny to see him fly off the road with 2 shot-up tires. I wouldn't damage my vehicle doing a pit maneuver, but i wouldn't miss with a beer can at the driver's window.
calling in a drunk driver on the highway would be hilarious. i flagged a cop down once behind a driver that almost ran me off the road with my wife & kids in the truck. i pointed the guy out to the cop, and they INSTANTLY went lights & sirens to pull him over. i laughed for 15 minutes behind that jackass.
