the cost of the 2 is very close, as is the quality (as far as i can tell at least) is the magnaflow really that much more quiet?? i watched a few video clips on their website, and i thought they sounded nice, not too loud, but still noticable

ya i listened to those fake ass videos also.you really need too listen to some trucks and say thats what i like .then ask whats on em.everyone has theyre own taste.if you look in my threads i posted a thread with an exhaust clip of my setup.it sounds pretty close to what it really does.its the only exhaust clip i put up so it shouldnt be hard too find.good luck.

I also have an 08 Sierra Denali. I am going with the Magnaflow 3.5"in/3"dual out muffler and some of their double-walled tips. Are you worried about voiding your warranty with those headers? I would like to put some on mine but am scared I will void my warranty.

i talked to the parts and service guy at the GMC dealership about doing stuff like CAI, headers, etc. and he said its basically up to the people working on the truck if the mods void the warranty, so something as simple as an intake could void the warranty, depending on the people working on he truck, but im not going to wait 5 years to make my truck what i want it to be simply because of possible warranty problems

I didn't wait either. If my chit breaks, I don't want GM putting the same parts that just broke back in anyway so I can break them again. If I can find my damn usb wire to my camera, Im going to download exhaust vids of my setup.

    so, heres the plan...
dynatech long tube headers and cats, true duals into a dynomax ultraflow x muffler, and im thinkin about just dumping the exhaust right out of the muffler.

I can understand where you are coming from. I don't think I'll be able to wait either. Do you think an STS turbo kit would void the warranty? lol
