Its cheaper to drive a gas hog than to make payments on two vehicles plus full coverage insurance.

That would work. That's why I drive my 90 325i all week and the truck only to the track on the weekend.![]()

Depends on how often you fill up. I get about a tank a week, give or take. Gas is about a $1/gallon more now, so that is $25/tank or $100/month.
I could save $100/month by not eating out or other things. I am not to the break point...yet. $5 or $6/gallon might do it.
Gone, but not forgotten!

Yeah - I almost thought about selling mine and getting something else. It's frustrating.
We're likely going to sell the Infiniti for sure. 15 mpg sucks. Looking at BMW 3 series, Honda Accord, or Volvo S60. The Volvo (and BMW?) takes super, but they get a whole lot better gas mileage.
my bmw takes super too but I've run regular unleaded in it for two years and never heard a rattle or ping.

V--don't forget the tassles on the headliner and curb feelers. Those are KEY.
Yeah, I am starting to enjoy my Honda more and more as the gas prices rise. I paid cash for it so I only carry liability. It barely costs anything per month in insurance because if you have a clean record and more than one car, you can qualify for a mutli-car discount.
