well i'm finnally going to break down and put an Lt1 in my truck, i have a '96 Lt1 out of a impalla SS, but i need a wiring harness, and computer for it.

    so basically heres my questions
#1 will the accessory mounts off a impalla work for the truck?
#2 whats the best way to wire the motor so all of my guages work (tach, speedo, temp, oil pres, voltage)
#3 will my edelbrock headers work on the motor(i dont see why not)
#4 what are some good Lt1 mods for performance( i wanna get some alum heads cuz the impallas had cast)

i'm sure i'll have more after i think about it for a while

Sell the Impala LT1 and get a Corvette LT1 or LT4 for even more power. They are almost a direct bolt in with accessories and all and already have the aluminum heads and have a minimum of 300 HP out of the box. Harness is available from Painless. Get Street and Performance, www.hotrodlane.cc, to program a chip for it. Your stock V8 exhaust will work and so will your standard headers. You will need electric fans, suggest 1998 up Fbody fans.
