Awwww....EFF. Sorry. I was gunna put a pic of a 69 Camaro on there but changed my mind at the last minute. Sorry for that. I took the Camaro text off and replaced it with Challenger and didn't even say 1972. Good call though. I know they didn't make them until 1970 also--I am a Mopar man as well... AND NO EFFING COMMENTS ABOUT THAT GUYS! We've already gone throught this...

And good call there too. Like I said, I was gunna put a 69 Camaro down until I forgot I had this picture. This car is one of my dad's dealer friends who did a RestoMod... That is the picture of the actual garage he built specifically for this car. Yes, it was originally a 340 car...but he restored it with a 440 Six-Pack, Hurst pistol grip 4-speed, 3.90 gears, and painted it the (EV2) Hemi Orange. He made his 1972 appear as a '70 T/A car.

Trans Ams, most definitely. I've owned about 20 of them now, currently have a 98 TA and an 89 Formula.

I like all musclecars, though. I also have a 74 AMX. How's that for an oddball car?

What makes yours even more oddball is the fact that it is a 401 motor. The largest engine you could option in them is the 390...did you have the stock motor bored .030 over to get the 401 ci displacement?????

But I didn't AMC only offer the 390 as the biggest motor option for the AMX? What else did they put 401s in? Matadors? Jeeps?

360,390 and 401 were options in AMXs. One of the guys I work with has a 74 AMX with the 401. Orange with white stripes, all original. He calls it red but I say it orange.
