    My friend's rig can hold 500 gallons of fuel I don't see how he keeps the thing on the road, figure $4.00 X 500 = $2,000 a fill up

    In the end we pay for it with higher costs of goods at the market. Truck drivers get paid no matter what unless they're under contract to supply their own fuel at a flat rate calculated prior to the rise in fuel prices.
