Thread: Cam and Converter install and I am not too happy..

    maybe it is just the feel.. It will burn both tires allthe way through first on concrete at will.. I am going to the track tonight to see if it just "feels" slower with the converter. I am doubting I will get traction so I am looking up old friends to try and borrow some slicks. I will keep you all posted.

    Dude the exhaust is no where near as difficult as cam and stall. You have to let the thing breath or you have nothing after 3500 rpms. Now be absolutely certain that you don't break a bolt off the exhaust manifold in the head.
    Picture breathing through a coffee stir stick after running a mile as fast as you can.

    So my truck is running low 9's in the 1/8th with a 2.0 flat 60 ft. It is laying down at high r's I am not happy with tonights perf...

    My 5.3 ran 9.11 supercharged in the 1/8th without headers it fell off at 1/2 track.

    I think I am having the same problem. pacesetters on the way should I go with the pacesetter offroad y? anybody have any other suggestions?

    get the y,it makes it 10x easier and will make more power

    Might need some long tube headers.

    Check the a/f ratio at wot and fuel pressure, just to make sure it's right.

    i went to track last night and ran a bunch of 9.1's @ 77.. so dont feel bad.

    thats what i was going to say... an intake a set of long tubes and an off road Y and i think youd notice a big difference.. or so i hear.
