    ...WHAP...WHAP...WHAP...
(that is me beating the bushes...)

    Ok, that was dumb...sorry.

ANYWAY--I think $9k is a fair asking price. Start out high with the knowledge you will be talked down. I would tell the potential serious buyer about the newer drivetrain components, but do not divluge ALL the info. Just say they needed to be replaced from the mileage. It is believable for a vehicle that has 180,000 on the chassis...

I would start out at asking 10K. When I traded my 99 Z71 in on the SS a little over a year ago, it had 145xxx miles on it with a 3 inch body lift 33" tires and a 4.8L motor. They gave me 7,600 trade in on it. Then I looked at there website and they ad it priced at liek 11,500. Its a nice looking truck and everyone like Z71s.

I would ask about $9500 and try and get $9000. I just traded in my 2000 Silverado LS 2WD w/ 75k on it and I got $7000. I would figure if you sold yours to a private party (and it being 4WD) you would get at least 9K for it.
