    hp tuner ?

Hey guys, I was looking at getting the hp tuner. I already have a nelson tune and get updates thru them of course. I heard that the tunes he sends out are locked. If they are locked, what can I do with the tuner. Can I look at everything on the pcm? Can I change anything on it? Can I do the relearns? Just trying to figure out if its worth getting. Let me know what ya think. Thanks. Tim

    o. so he can send tunes via email? That sounds good. Does he charge anymore than what I already paid for that service?

I'm not sure how many tunes per year he'll update for free. The general rule of thumb is twice, after that there is a charge. The first tunes when you buy the locked PCM, he'll keep passing you PCMs until you're happy and then its two per year. You'll really need to Email him or call and discuss your options. Once you have an unlocked PCM its your tune and no longer his, he just helps you along. If you burn the engine up with the unlocked tune, its your baby.
