09 CREWCAB LTZ SILVERADO, 6.2, SIX SPEED, CAI,
Yeah, factory head gaskets are perfect for what you are doing...but I would spend the extra $$$ and get ARP head bolts. Its easier to spend the extra cash now then to have to spend it all over again if you have to take the heads off for any reason...

Close but those are main studs. You need head studs or head bolts. If you have up to a 2003 the PN is 134-3609. 2004+ takes 134-3610 bolts. If all twenty, 10 per side, bolts are the same length you have the 2004+ heads.

Oh--ooops. I could have sworn I had linked the head studs page... He has an 02 5.3L motor, so he would need these head studs.

so the bolts in that last link are reusable?

yes and made of a higher quality material than the GM bolts. They are cheaper than the studs that ARP sells. You need the 134-3610 set if you have a 2004 or newer set of heads that have all 10 bolts the same length.
