The 4.10's are too much on my truck because it's turbocharged and the truck runs better when I can string each gear out longer. The 4.10's made each gear rap out to quick.
I know it sounds wrong, but the truck hauled ass with the 3.42's originally, then I made the mistake of adding the 4.10's.
I want to see how the 3.73's work out compared to the 4.10's, should be just right with the tall tires.
This opinion is just on my truck, it may be different on others.
If that doesnt work get the 14 bolt semi floater with the 9.5" ring gear, its not as heavy as the 3/4 ton 10.5" full floaters but it can stand some serious abuse. My rearend still has the stock G80 and 4.10's with no problems yet. I do launch in 4wd though.
