Thread: 12" subwoofer and Truck Box!

    might be interested in the box.. I need to go measure mine right quick. I have a 12" kicker comp sub and the box is a wee too small. It sounds like it hits the back of the box bc its too small

    btw did you make the box yourself or buy it? My box measures 7.25" base, 18" wide, 15" tall. I just wanna know if that extra 3/4 of an inch will make my sub sound better, or if my sub is just blown..

    my box is almost an inch deeper! If the sub is blown then you can test by checking the voltage! If no volts, then its gone! Or amp is on and sub just barely hits at full volume, then sub is blown! Subs will fart(sound blown) if they don't have enough air space!
