    I dont think GM will ever grow nuts enough to make a compact V8 truck. My reasoning is they look at how bad the Syclone and the Thyphons did and they dont want to make that mistake again. They dont understand though that it would work now so long as they dont ask an arm and a leg like they did with the TYs SYs. That was what destroyed those two trucks.

    probably because it would cost to much money, an the people who would want it couldn't afford it. look at the ford lightning and the dodge srt10 or w/e its called with the viper motor. that concept 427 truck would be over 55K and i would never pay that much for it.

    THEY ARE! i read up on it they are coming out with a 5.3.. hmm i have to say i really wouldnt mind one at all. All i would do is exaust, intake and a shot happy happy gas and id be very happy

    Put a little gas on the I-5 and it will run 8s in the 1/8th all day long.

    Knowing GM they will over charge for the truck and no one but people with corvette money will be able to buy one. They will for sure be bad ass just probably in the mid to high $30K range.

    I hope they do it right.
