2000.00 what to do with it. Help please.

Well I sold my watch. The money is ear marked for the truck. My 5.3 is currently choking due to a broken exhaust manifold not letting me put headers on. Only fix for that is to pull the head and replace it. I screwed the hole up way too bad to fix. I do not want to spend the dough on heads for a 5.3 I just don't feel it is worth it. Don't want to use nitrous with the meth and the whipple which is at 8lbs. I could also sell the whipple for about 3000 at least thats my guess. Then I'd have 5k to play with.
My wifes TBSS can out run me and that makes me sad. I want that kind of power and then some. What to do what to do?
If I bought a 6.0 to put in I would have to at least put a cam kit in it to go with the whipple as well as headers. Thats at least a grand.
I thought about the new turbo kit but my truck is 4wd. I am betting the $3900.00 trick kit is for a 2 wheel drive. Damn I need some suggestions.

Well, considering you already have an FI 5.3L, I say 6.0L. You have the tranny to back it up, so go ahead! You can easily find a decent 6.0L laying around for about $1200. Here is one on Ebay with 80K miles for $715. Take the remaining funds and do a cam kit. Then you'll love it! Just swap over all of your other mods, and you are set!!!

If I had FI and was content with the exterior. I would save it. Cause it would suck if you spent it on more go fast goodies and you crashed it, or it had bad wires and burnt up. Hell If the wife doesnt know about it. Wait until you get more money and get a setup Like that Denali got.

I already have more than 35 thousand in the truck. The wife does know but I told her she can't have it. I could not make myself spend as much as that Denali has had spent on it. I more of a go fast than look good guy. and That was just too much money.
