Seriously, I see in your siggy you have an Airaid CAI, how do you like it? I just picked up a 2K Tahoe with the 5.3 and need a CAI. In comparing the K&N's and the Airaids the pics on the websites look like the Airaid intake might be more restrictive than the K&N but you can't tell from the pics. Is it a pretty straight, unrestricted flow?

no it has plenty room.... i might be wrong but i think poweraid tbs is the same company as airaid cai...so they are made to work together...i got a deal where u buy the airaid cai and u get a free tbs...so it worked out good

I'm sure your right, it's the same company. Did you need to trim any of the radiator cowl? The K&N instructions indicate sometimes you need to trim a little for clearance.
nope it doesn't touch the cowl....prob a good inch in between....

I rode around with kyle the other night...freakin blew my mind when we filled up after he ragged the shat out of it. I bought a cd player last night for my truck, after installing it, took it all back out, returning everything and saving up a lil more for a tune!
